Building a quieter corner of the web

Less interface. More space for the things that matter.

A website can feel calm without feeling empty. The difference often comes down to a handful of deliberate decisions: readable type, a sensible line length, and navigation that lets the content do the talking.

A few useful constraints

Use a small palette. Give headings a clear hierarchy. Reserve animation for moments when it helps someone understand what changed.

The tabs on the homepage are one example. They let visitors explore different kinds of content without navigating away from the introduction. Every published entry appears in its section, and each article links back to the place you left.

Simple underneath, too

This site is generated as ordinary files. The build collects the content, applies the page layouts, and writes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript into a deployment folder.

That folder can be served by a typical cPanel hosting account. The published site stays small, and the content stays easy to move.
